At Least Two Injured In Large Fight At Local Bar Thursday Morning

A large fight was reported at a local bar in the early morning hours Thursday. The Fort Dodge Police Dept. received a call of just before 1:30 AM of a fight in progress at Amigo’s of Fort Dodge that involved several people. When officers arrived they found a woman and a man who had suffered lacerations in the fight. Two people involved in the fight were taken to Unity Point Hospital for treatment of their non-life threatening injuries. Police say a woman brandished a knife during the fight and that resulted in injuries for some involved in the fight. The FDPD has not announced any arrest stemming from the fight but they are continuing to investigate. Anyone with info is asked to call the Fort Dodge Police.
